Why have womens work boots been ignored?

There is no hiding the fact that work boots come in a variety of sizes and shapes. They can easily fulfill most of the demanding requirements of any physical labor job. There are quite a few innovations and developments in work boots nowadays but today I am only going to be talking about one thing which has usually been overlooked, women’s work boots. So I guess the most important question here is why they have been overlooked? Well, there is no hiding the fact that the work wear market is predominantly male. But as the times and people’s opinions slowly change, the work environment now has a lot more female workers as well. Construction sites are no longer full of men. But what does this mean from a footwear supplier’s point of view? Well, the truth is that it’s only the short sighted brands that have not been able to capitalize on this new trend. As for the rest, they have been able to do a pretty good job of seizing the opportunity to increase their sales.

But even now, there is limited choice available on most supplier websites as far as women’s boots are concerned. These internet websites look like they are more interested in securing their income instead of trying something new and seeing what happens. The suppliers that make this move first are the ones who are going to benefit most from it. As far as the others are concerned, only time will tell what’s going to happen to them.

I would personally recommend that you always search for women’s boots online before trying anything else. There is always a chance that you will be able to find exactly what you’re looking for without even having to leave the comfort of your home. I’m sure most people wouldn’t mind this now would they?

One thing you need to keep in mind while shopping for boots though is that they need to be made from the proper material if you want good results. They need to be able to perform during the task you have purchased them for. So if you work at a construction site, it is obvious that you will need steel toe boots. But if they aren’t rock solid from the front, they won’t really be of much use now will they? And don’t forget, the biggest difference between men and women’s boots is usually the size. So if you find something you like in the men’s section, don’t feel shy to ask for the exact same thing in a smaller size. It should work just as well.

As the footsteps came down the hall, she pulled up the bedskirt and slid underneath. The box spring dug into the space between her shoulder blades. It was a tighter squeeze than most people would have risked, and if someone were to sit down she thought she might be crushed by the sagging frame.

The door swung inwards and the knob hit against the wall with a soft tap. She clapped her hand over her nose and mouth as heavy feet thumped towards the bed. Under the skirt fringe, she could just make out a pair of work boots, heavy and dark brown. They were worn, but clean; too clean. This man was meticulous.

I think it’s pretty obvious (based on previous prompts) that I think about shoes a lot. I don’t care if they’re old or new, expensive or cheap … something about shoes just tickles my imagination. They say so much about a person; how they walk, whether they’re practical or flashy, how well they take care of things … the list goes on.

If eyes are the windows to our souls, then shoes are the windows to our minds.
